An Inspirational Visit From Santa’s Local Office…
24. December 2010 by KVaughn.
Friends, Family, Followers, and Supporters..
As I sat here quietly on Christmas Eve afternoon pondering the next chapter of my life and any future of S.T.A.R.S. I was suddenly starstruck by an incoming e-mail message from a recent graduate’s mother that caused me to STOP my Christmas preparation and light an internal fire. It would be selfish of me not to share this message with each of you this Christmas Eve, and I hope you find your self smiling and the spark that I did.
Happy Holidays to all of you and your family. Stay tuned. KevMan
Dear Kevin,
I am so sorry to hear that this is what it has come to this. We {the kids and the parents} have been blessed to have known you and your amazing efforts. I realize that there is alot of work and time needed to provide such a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn and grow in a manner in which they never saw possible. Thank you for this. I also want to thank you for teaching us the parents that being a part of our childrens lives is not part time. I have seen my son grow from a young man with out much direction or goal, into a young man who believes in himself and sets high goals for himself knowing that he can meet and beat anything that comes his way. You and your marvelous team have helped him find that before he got lost in his fears and confusion. Thank you again for all that you do. I pray that someday soon I will see S.T.A.R.S. INTERNATIONAL back on the map.
Sincerely,
Linda Engebretson and family.
